    hhmm, yeah that's what i thought...that's why on my second mac light i went with the 1.4, my first one is a 2.8 using the red aw rcr. i just ran out of my surefire primaries, too. at least it's working perfectly on an rcr right now. i'll have to test out a surefire primary when i get some more.

    that pic is actually how i carry my qmini 123, as well. for the clicky, i don't use the clip, but rather a paracord with a constrictor knot. it's a handy set up, peace of mind that i won't drop it and lose it.

    I had a nitecore extreme that went hot on me and i heard a whizzing sound. i think it shorted out. i sent it back to nitecore headquarters in china. they fixed it and i've been using it here and there with no problems. they are very responsive over email. it is pricey to send it to China...

    Oops, Clumsy Me!!

    I actually prefer lanyard over clip. After reading this thread, I made a wrist lanyard for my new Ra clicky 170. Thanks to another cpf'er who posted a pic and an explanation that they used a constrictor knot to make the lanyard. It works well. :twothumbs
