I dont have a problem, I can stop any time I want to. How about you?

Since it’s already packaged, I’ll take that Arc camo to help free up some space for you.

Are those 12p’s? It looks like two 16650’s maybe? Fivemega maybe?
Unfortunately, I do NOT have any 12P's

I sure wish I had gotten some

I think you might be talking about my FiveMega 3AA bodies?

As to the Camo Arc, that will stay with me, at least for a while, SORRY

You want a 12P or 12Z? I keep telling myself I don't collect Surefires; about time I act like it.

Oh I don't kid myself, I do know for a fact that I have a problem 😅

Instead of denying facts, I reality check myself. I set my sights on the new light and plan according to my financial situation and save for months if needed before I hit that final "complete transaction" button. If I have the cash to spare comfortably and no possible and imaginable emergencies where that money would see better use, then it's NLD for me.

It works well. It pushes me to not making impulse purchases or buy duplicates with too much overlap.

No duplicates, no probl...wait, wait wait - is it technically a duplicate when 2 lights are identical and both are in use, but one is considered a backup?
If not, all good.

And of course I can stop whenever I want.
...I just need to buy all the lights I want first. 😎

And I just force an inferiour light on - I mean, I politely ask if someone else would like to buy one of my current lights, if I want to make a direct swap / replacement / upgrade to a newer and better model for the same purpose.

@ABTOMAT :

You need another flashlight like Imelda Marcos needed another pair of shoes 🤣
You say that like aren't a bunch I'm still trying to add. The ride never ends. Anyone have a green Stud-Lite?

Also fun fact: I dated a girl whose family was involved in deposing Ferdinand Marcos.

I just checked and both are in the 31 million numbers! I had no idea that many were even made!
If the number starts with a 3, then that's a prefix and the actual count starts with the second digit. The first digit of a Maglite serial number is model designation. Magchargers were "1" until the late '80s when they became "3".

Thanks I appreciate the wisdom! It has always amazed me the amount of knowledge here. I’m still a young collector and this is a fun hobby!

It has always amazed me the amount of knowledge here.
I wish I had known some of the things I have learned here over the past few years, 20 years ago!

If I had known how "real" (CRI / Ra) the light from incandescent bulbs is, I would have hoarded them long ago, instead of trying to switch to LED as quickly as possible. The early LEDs were worse than pretty much everything else on the market for a good while (taking local availability into account) - and we still need specialty LEDs to get close to a 1:1 match in terms of colour rendering.

With that train sailed (...?), the next best knowledge I have gained is how important good light actually is. I have very recently replaced almost all light sources in the house with actual high quality LED-bulbs, and I wish I had done that as soon as I could. Though my own economy has vastly changed for the better, in the last 2 years in particular, so I can afford buying 6 USD bulbs now instead of having to resort to a 6-pack for 6 USD equivalent.

Worst thing is, I have been happy with the cheapest Philips or Osram bulbs I could find (even low-cost or no-brand bulbs before). But they don't hold a candle (...) to the more expensive ones, going from 70-80 CRI (I honestly don't even know) to 90+ CRI.

And if I hadn't been here - or, technically, come back here - I probably wouldn't have learned the love and happiness that is the Nichia 519A, 1800K! ❤️
Convoy S21E (or the compulsory S2+), 519A 1800K with a diffuser - please do yourself the favour of getting one of those for your nighstand.

Haven't tried any NTG (Emisar / Noctigon) or FFL (FireFlies) LEDs yet, but that looks like an NTG35 to me - let me guess: Emisar D3AA and D2? :)
EDIT: IT WAS A FLUKE! A TRICK! A MCGUFFIN! A RED HERRING! A PROMISE OF CAKE! :O
Wait, I didn't know the D3AA came as a dual-channel as well? And what is the first one? Looks like a KR4 of some kind, so...KR1K?

For me, the 519A 1800K ties into the "Morning Sun"-nightstand light I wanted to get for the winter mornings. I may have gone a bit overboard, but very happy with the result!

The 519A 1800K is much more Yellow and sun-like compared to the more Orange LHP73B 1800K, and has an intensity the E21A 2000K can't match.

By the way, your beamshots would be excellent for the "Hint of Tint"-game!
