These are LED flashlights released by Polarion, a company famous for its high-quality HID flashlights.

Although Polarion was originally a powerhouse in HID, they have released a wide range of LED products to keep up with the times.

They are certainly cheaper than HID, yet their performance is also quite satisfactory.

Cool white LEDs only? I'm running away.

(Sorry,I'm a tint snob.)

HID tends to be a fairly cool white - 4 - 5 K. Very broad spectrum, so high CCTs might be what they are used to.

It "might be" that they have worked with a supplier to use an LED with HID like spectra ?

I have to admit that the HIDs on my wife's car make it a lot easier to see at night vs the old incans. None of my cars have LED headlamps, not because I am against them, just wasn't on the used cars we purchased.

Honestly, I'm not really sure what kind of chips they use... When I hear the name Polarion, I naturally think of HID, not LED. They are HID veterans, but frankly, I don't consider them LED veterans.
