I've had a pair of 7506 in some form in my laptop bag for 25+ years now. Practically any broadcast studio will have a few pairs floating around. My life is quite chaotic these days and time is quite limited, so I'm nowhere into sound as much as I used to be. Just being able to spend 20-30 minutes listening to music without doing anything else is a luxury I've not had in ages. Both of my own studios are offline and in various states of disrepair due to the hurricane and other factors.

Knipex are excellent, and the cobras I purchased most recently seem to be fully up to their usual high standard.
My understanding is that Wiha (and Wera) have significantly changed production details several years ago and I have read of some quality concerns. One distributor where I purchase tools no longer carries Wera, I believe, supposedly for this reason.
I am very happy with the Wiha and Wera tools I have, but all of mine were purchased over a decade prior.
Although costly, PB Swiss tools are also wonderful and they are now one of the first places I check for fine hand tools.
I'll be very specific.... Base model (LS) Toyota Corolla.

Thought of another one.... The vast majority of Channellock tools are still Made in America. I have a few. They are excellent. Go Team Light-blue!
The 2026 Corolla base model probably is the best chance you have of a long-life car these days, BUT, it still has a ton of electronics on it, many which might might be difficult to obtain in 15-20 years. Regulations are making more e-waste out of products than helping the environment.
Although they have reduced their product line over the years, Unicomp is still making excellent keyboards, at least as of the last ones I purchased of theirs.

A few of these have already been mentioned, but +1 for G-Shocks, old pens/pencils (Rotring, Pentel, etc.), and swiss army knives (Wenger/Victorinox). Oh, and although I use a pen (or computer keyboard) most of the time now, I'm also glad to see that wood/graphite pencils are still being made and used. I half expected these to be gone by now, perhaps replaced by a stylus and some sort of electronic "PAD", but they still seem to be going strong.
Not sure I have a favorite, but I do like Pentel and Mitsubishi.
I have tried quite a few, but my favorite for general writing (not drawing) purposes is the Mitsu-Bishi 9850 HB.
Thanks, I have yet to try that one out; Will have to order some :). I rather like the Hi-Uni. No eraser on those, but they do come in a nice re-usable plastic box.

Just bought this last week for $3000. Gave it to a senior nursing student because she is on a 3rd totaled car! Great car that drives good. AC and computer were replaced in 2018. AC colder than any vehicle I have. Has a great aftermarket stereo and backup camera. Needs an intake manifold gasket for a cold rough start. Bought her a 2009 v6 Camry and kept it for myself as a second vehicle as I liked it so much!

The Hi-Uni are outstanding also, of course, and available in such a range of leads.
For me, and for drawing, I might slightly prefer the Staedtler Mars Lumograph though.

My 2009 Mazda 6 sSport trim V6 is in a bit of rough shape.
But only cosmetically. She's 18 years old. Plan is to keep her until she turns 20.
Then get a newer vehicle. Very recently paid off my AMEX card debt.
VISA card is next. In less than a year, it'll be paid off.
And, I'll have saved enough during the other year for a HUGE down payment.
(To get small monthly payments.)
So far, everything is on track. Though if something goes wrong, I have a plan....
Track down a 2016 base Corolla. Buy that for cash. Drive it for several years.
Why 2016? That was the last model year you could get one with a traditional automatic.

RE Mazdas -- Am on my third Mazda, a CX-5 this time around.
Suppose I ought to have hunted around for a low-mileage pre-owned turbo example. But the N/A model is simpler, less to go wrong, and works wonderfully well. Each of the three Mazdas I've owned have been extremely reliable.
Once they get the kinks worked out of the CX-90 6cyl, I might be interested. But they've got teething pains, from what people are reporting. And of course there is the SkyActiv-Z platforming coming along.

Bidets for the win! I gave my fiancée a fancy Korean one many years ago, which ultimately broke. Heated water, heated seat, heated air dryer, the works. I have the more pedestrian non-electric ones at my homes, but they get the job done...unless it's February. Water's too cold.
