Not sure if I mentioned it earlier, but I saw a steel "Casioak" bezel for the 2100 series on eBay and ordered it. The bezel arrived today and I've got to say... it steps up a GA-B2100 G-Shock in a really cool way.
Not so much as to the point of being overly flashy or blingy (or heavy) as would come with also running a steel bracelet, but adding a little more formality but keeping it sporty at the same time.
Oh you guys... I know it is ridiculously obvious that I am having an absolute ball playing with these G-Shocks, and not spending crazy money doing so (no need for that with G-Shock modding).
Just pure fun with watches is all this is.

What is your take on the MRG-B2100 series? I like the polish. But I have done my share of metal re-finishing work on stainless steel revolvers. In fact, with the Ruger GP100 SS 3", I actually removed the extensive "warning" text that was engraved on the barrel. Came out great.
I am not the least bit tempted by the super premium priced G-Shocks. My understanding is that all you're paying for is the extensive case engineering/complexity and the premium metals, none of which is of any interest to me, for the money they ask. The GMW-B5000 that I have - all metal, scratches that itch fully and I paid $400 for that one. And same with the GST-B1000D - a stellar steel watch for sensible money.

I nearly bought that very same Tissot model, a year ago. Perfect for anyone wanting a One-and-Done watch. But the case was a bit too heavy for my wrist.
