Oh... you all know my G-Shock adventures.
How about this one that just arrived today. Quite likely my favorite G-Shock of all time, combining the virtues of the Bluetooth/Solar power 2100 module with a steel G-Shock bezel. Could be the greatest G-Shock 2100 so far?
More pictures to come as I settle in with this beauty.
Some cool class, without being overly blingy. And the thin, light strap is nice enough that I may never replace it with soft silicon... what you think?
The negative digital display is not very easy to read without bright downlight (not in this photo), which is just fine by me.
I'm all about the brilliant analog hands, which are incredibly easy, and so very quick to read... along with the brilliant, highly reflective, hour markers and the gorgeous, verde, deep green face. WOW.
So far, right off the bat... this is a stellar, gorgeous, G-Shock watch.
GBM-2100A-1A3. Casio is serving up some absolutely fabulous watches... for sensible money!
Bezel is silver color, but here is reflecting the color of the walls in my room.
The negative display in the tiny digital window is very difficult to read, without strong overhead light (or using the built in LED), but I'm fine with that as the only function I use this watch for is telling the time and it does that brilliantly. Even the lume is quite good, surprising for a G-Shock. Hour indices have lume bars at the top of each marker, as well.
The strap is the nicest G-Shock strap I've ever seen - very comfortable, looks good, I see no need to replace it.
