    Best HID Lights

What do you think of the Xe7R? If one wants to use them in a classic vehicle, those projector models just wouldn't look right.

Those have been superseded by the Philips HIRs

Maximizing lighting on a Tahoe safely.

Painless Wiring sells the necessary harness for converting to a quad high-beam set-up.

Are 9006/9005 on the way out?

Sure we can have both, but I prefer the priority being biased toward visibility. I'm not an engineer and not more than a casual reader about lighting issues, but I would think that technology will improve how the light is delivered as well as come up with more efficient sources of light, so...

Are 9006/9005 on the way out?

I always thought that the idea behind new lighting technologies was to improve visibility for the driver. I know that's what I want as a driver, not looks or weight savings and/or energy savings, especially since the latter two seem to be marginal.

Are 9006/9005 on the way out?

So these are intermediate in performance between 35W HID and a top-notch halogen system? Any idea of the relative decrease in performance between a hypothetical standardized 35W system and a possible "average" 25W system (as a percentage figure), if I am correct in assuming the 25W system won't...

How to turn off drl on my new 2010 honda crv??

It's also fuse #37 on the current, 8th generation Civic. I guess Honda didn't change that for the CR-V. In any case, you'd get the best info asking at a Honda-related forum if pulling that fuse doesn't work.

UV Curing light for Headlight Restoration

One thing about sunlight is that it should contain the full UV spectrum, but the intensity may vary. I happened across the spar varnish link previously and it does appear that the stuff has been working for nine months now, with anecdotal evidence of around two years or more, but the idea of...
