    Did I read correctly it takes AAAA batteries? Why not use more common AAA? I think it would be nicer if the light attached to the round thing making a candle mode, now it attaches LED end down LOL. Ive seen hobbyists on this and other forums make great lights out of copper tube and things...

    I lost my Fenix PD30, found it in a place I swear I looked 50 times.

    Glad you found it bro...attach a yellow reflective paracord lanyard, if lost maybe shining (another!) light around will get it to show-up if you lost it because it was black on black.

    Hi - Thanks for the reply...I am going to return them and get my $19.99 back. I just though that MagLight would make a decent product so they must have researchers or product testers on their staff, LOL, but I guess they really are this bad. Youre right LED lights have really come so far, LOL.

    Comprehensive Grease and Lube Thread

    Is this lubricant good to use for threads and o-rings and everything? I can buy it at the Lowes for under $5... Dupont Teflon Silicone I have never used lubricant on my lights before and the ones in the original post I dont think I could easily find locally... Many thanks...

    Potential Christmas Present Suggestions?

    I think the Fenix E21 is good. (2xAA) Its pretty cheap, around 30-40USD, has a Med / High twist selection, and a simple clicky at the tail. Great for walking around at night or camping, etc....or for around the house. I have 3 of them... But the E21 has no belt clip...

    Its just the LED bulb...would it have a higher chance of the bulb getting damaged since there is no lens on it, or what is the reason for this? Also is there water resistance without the lens? Id really like to order one, but just wondering. Many thanks...

    Yeah Im like that too... I have a few StreamLight Stylus Pros and QTY=2 of E21 lights...just as backup or in case one gets lost or damaged. I like to look for them at a good price too, when there is a sale or what not. So multiple lights for sure!!! With Seiko SKX watches I would do the same...
