    Because the mechanism of conversion is complex... and an X power at emission is not linked to an Y power at the business end.... make an 'external' feedback, and you are sure to obtain a "constant" output power

    not 30.000, Coherent says 180,000 readings of 12 sec. 180,000 / 60 = 3000 if you use it every two minutes for two hours every day, the battery will last about 3000 days (8 years)
