Farewell our Curmudgeon Administrator
These runtime plots are for a NexTorch MM (Magic Max) that uses CR2, AA Alkaline or AA Batery Station Li batteries.
Equipment used is a Extech Mdl 401021 Light Adapter into a Radio Shack 22-805 multimeter with a PC interface thatis using Scopeview software (V 1.08).
The verticle axis is in VDC and is equivalent to 1Fc@1Ft per 1 mVDC. The horizontal axis is in time.
Be aware that your actual battery milage may vary from that indicated by this runtime plot.
The runtime to 50% max brightness = 58m using one CR2 battery
The runtime to 50% max brightness = 2h 3m using 2xAA alkaline batteries
The runtime to 50% max brightness = 4h 44m using 2xAA Battery Station Li batteries
I did notice that a few minutes befor the NexTorch MM goes dark, the light flickers for 5-10 seconds.
Used the following brands of batteries:
CR2....Dpower
AA alkaline...Ultra-Alkaline Supercell
AA Li...Battery Station
