Run-Time Plot - TaskForce 1xAA 1w

These runtime plots are for the TaskForce 1W 1xAA using alkaline and Lithium AA batteries.

Equipment used is a Extech Mdl 401021 Light Adapter into a Radio Shack 22-805 multimeter with a PC interface using Scopeview software (V 1.08).

The vertical axis is in mVDC and is equivalent to 1Fc@1Ft per 1mVDC. The horizontal axis isin units of time (15m/div).

Be aware that your actual battery milage may vary from that indicated by this runtime plot.


The runtime to 50% max brightness = 2 hr 20 min using an AA alkaline battery.

The runtime to 50% max brightness = 4h 06m using an AA lithium battery.

Great work - Roy. As I own one of these lights, its interesting to see runtimes.

I noticed a quick drop-off in light intensity using an alkaline cell; as your chart shows. I'm now using NiMH, lithiums are a little too spendy for me.:goodjob:
