Here's a question for the battery experts out there. I have quite a few flashlights in 18650, CR123A, and even CR2, 10180, 10220, and 10280 size, but only a Mr. Bulk and McGizmo in 18500 format. Are there other lights out there that use the 18500 or 18490 size battery?

Perhaps this question belongs in the battery section but I post it here as the only lights I know that use it are customs.

Yes, Oveready TorchLab has a 18500 body called the TL50 for their Moddoolar light set-ups.
Also, it is very common for light bodies that take 3x123 batteries to be bored for 2x18500, such as a SureFire C3.

Thanks, TWL, I really like this size and was looking to add a few more examples to my collection.

Peak had an optional 18500 tube for a few models in the past ... the Pyrenees (I think, and maybe some others too).

Not 18mm diameter, but the Peak Logan has a (17mm diameter) 17500 model, too.

I have an 2 X 18500 tube for my Peak first responder.

There is also an MD3 body from Malkoff that takes 2 X 18500, is use it with an adapter for 2 X AA.

My Thrunite TN11 has an extender to make it two 18500's... I think this is the perfect balance of length and runtime. I think two 18650's gets to be a little long sometimes and one 18650 is not enough runtime.

Thanks for the info guys. I hadn't thought about the 2x18500 types. I was just thinking of the 1x18500 ones.
