Hi there,

I was very lucky to get a like new 3DL.
I have never heard of this device (I only knew the newer M1).
I found a old auction which was ended with around $380 and which was in a very bad condition (dents, shattered glas).
Can someone estimate the value of a new device and how rare it really is?

Thanks

Best regards,
Julian

We don't do appraisal or price-fishing discussions here, but you are welcome to discuss "collectibility"

In general, I would say that the SureFire IR models are of collector interest primarily as hosts and for modding.

when Surefire discontinued the E1E you could find them for around $40 a piece NIB. I bought a few. looking back I wish I bought more. Personally, It brings a tear to my eye to see surefire discontinue their incandescent lights, specifically the lights that run P60 modules. I currently have a small cache of these lights not because they "might" increase in value but because they are an awesome option as hosts for aftermarket P60 dropins. Anyways, to get back on topic, I personally would not drop $380 for a beat up 3DL but obviously someone out there did .
