I need a 9v lithium battery and charger circuit board

I work for a company that builds machines. We make our own pendents (joysticks) that control our CNC and CMM machines. These pendents used to stay plugged in all the time and were powered through the cord, but our customers wanted wireless controls. Right now we are powering them with 6 rechargeable AA batteries. The batteries stay in the pendent, and a standard adapter is plugged into them every night to charge. I am trying to talk my boss into using lithium batteries instead, but he doesn't want to design an internal charger for the new batteries. I am looking for a lithium battery pack and a charging circuit board that we could use, it has to match the voltage of 6 AA batteries.
