Hi All, I'm looking at buying myself a new headlamp, and I want to be able to use high capacity 18650s. I like the magicshine system and seems to be compatible with a wide range of lights, so my question is if there are battery holders for individually protected cells that I would recharge externally. This would really be preferable to me so I could use my panasonic 3400 mAh cells, as well as have the capacity to run CR123s for extended backcountry trips. Is this an option for me, or am I looking at something more homebrew to solve my problem? That would be OK, I have electronics experience and feel comfortable doing it, but I'd prefer not to have the hassle!
