Hey all,

I've been looking for a new light but just can't make a decision, help my indecisiveness!

What i have

Eagletac d25 a click. AA White flood - about 4 years old.
Pelican M6 - White very foucused beam that throws far ! (This is mounted to something ) used on the raccoons last summer.
Surefire 6z - old light not very bright. Not using - currently

My main go to light has been the Eagletac What's the next step up?

Things I want -

brigher
more throw
side switch
rechargable or able to use rechargeable batteries
Size - as big as the ones I have maybe bigger , I have seen some 3-4 AA that are cool.

uses -
General home uses
scaring raccoons
camping
shining in a bad guys eyes

What I have looked at.
A few eagletacs and mostly olite's, budget 75 $ with batteries. I have been leaning toward olites.

Olights look nice and I will probably be picking up one of the BATON rechargeables with Turbo boost.

Since you have a surefire 6z, I am assuming the 2 cell cr123 style, Why don't you consider a drop in replacement head from Malkoff Devices?

It would be cheaper than a new light and you get to reuse your surefire. I assume it is an older incandescent

The drop ins can give you around 300 lumens and some even have the option for low, medium or high. Look for the M61 drop ins on their website.

Not sure which of the dropins would work with rechargeable batteries though.
