I will be at the Shot Show but I really doubt I will be able to make it to the party. My main purpose is to be there for the Shot Show and I have a firearms event to attend Saturday. Not sure of the times yet. I would like however to suggest we set up a couple of times we could meet at the Arc booth like maybe 2 PM Fri and Sat for photo ops. I believe you should avoid getting caught taking photos for 'official' use. If you have a small camera for personal photos it shouldn't be too much of a problem I hope. So many people have digital cameras now-a-days and they are used so much in the course of everyday life that it would be like expecting people to use payphones rather than their cellphones right?

Lets keep this thread free from this sort of discussion please - Other threads can be started for specific questions and details.

This is more directed at press, news and tabloid. Personal shots an owner takes of his booth for personal purposes they don't seem to object to. Vegas is very camera shy period. I am going to take my camera in in my brochure bag and use it very descretly. I certaintly won't try to use it in the law enforcement area (Machine Guns). You will see a lot of people carrying small hand carried cameras. I wouldn't try to bring in a tripod though.

Also bear in mind the Photo Marketing Association is across the hall (Yes it is in the same building at the same hours). I would be willing to bet many people (Me for one) are attending both shows. While you can't carry guns around in the gun show you can carry cameras at the PMA show./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Very worst case scenario; they won't let us bring cameras in, check em at the door, enjoy the show and visit with each other. I will be at ARC at 2 PM Fri and Sat.

We should all bear in mind that ARC is paying a lot of money and has put a lot of time into attending this show. While for the most part we are there to enjoy the show, he is there working. Lets all try to remember that. The previous does NOT apply to eating and drinking /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gifhim broke and dry at the party Saturday Night!!

OK last words from me, off the pulpit!! I will be at ARC at 2 PM Friday and Saturday with camera in hand (Hopefully) for group shots and meeting as many of you as possible. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink2.gif
