starting from scratch D36 26650 SST-50 or SST-90

I've been on a quest for throw in a Surefire C2/6P/D26 type host for a couple months now.

Have you looked at the Solarforce Masterpiece Pro-1 turbo head?

This out throws a Dereelight DBS easily and looks like it has the same size reflector of the new king of throw the Tiablo A10. Some say it has a lux reading of 50,000+, I don't have a lux meter so I can do a reading on mine.

I was trying to keep it to the same form factor as a C2/6P (i.e. pocketable), so no huge head that wouldn't fit in my pocket.

Since the FiveMega 26250 host is pretty large I'll probably try a D36 head on my C2 and see how that goes (and use the same SST-50 drop-in that's in the 26650 now).

Ill be using the C2 on the bars and a magicshine P7 HL on my helmet.
most of the trails I ride are so tight I dont think throw is really that
important- Ive done ok with a P4ed brunton L3 HL on its own (on mellow trails) so Im sure the D26 should be enough throw. If not then I guess Ill be bummed n sell it (hope not) and get the D36 fivemega as I originally planned..
its strange how much contradictory and erroneous info there is out there on the interweb Im going to need to just find out for myself at this point.
that said, Im happy to learn something and appreciate the help!
