LF2 is the older version, cree and SSC.

THere is also a first gen version of the LF2 cree that has no mode memory for user mode, and lower vF P3 crees with longer runtime. These are a bit more rare...

LF2X, just 1 version.

That should be it.

Where else can one buy one then? LEDCOOL hasn't responded in his sales threads.

EliteLED sells the newer LF2X.

You can slow buy directly from Liteflux tho I cannot comment on their customer service.

If you really want the older model, I have an SSC one that is pretty much mint. You can PM me about it if interested.
I was planning on keeping it and modding with a warm white Seoul, but could be convinced otherwise...

Aside from the hand picked rebel, is there any other notable differences between the extreme III and the lf2x? I want to order one or the other and there is a $30 price difference that i'm trying to justify :D

Edit: Found a thread with a comparison: <http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=191359>

Adjustible meaning user adjustible modes or multimode?

As mentioned before the Liteflux LF2, LF2X are both worth a look at. So is the Arcmania Extreme III, Fenix L0D-CE Q4, and LD01.

Alright!! I've been hoping an LF2XT would emerge. If they can find a way to squeeze a little clickie in there it will be perfect. Give it to us, please.

Thanks for all the information. Leaning toward the Fenix right now, but smaller would be nicer.
