Will a RCR-123A battery work in a L1 1st Gen. ??

I have a 1st Gen. L1 given to me by KenBar. I love this light but have been going through the cr-123a batts like crazy. Is their a rechargeable battery that i could use that wont fry the led??? Let me know, open to suggestions.

If you are talking about a Surefire L1, then from my experience, unfortunately: No. The battery tube is too narrow to permit the slightly thicker diameter of RCR123s. Someone with experience can bore out the tube, but it will (obviously) void the warranty.
