Hand Grenade !! :naughty: :naughty:
Anyway, great work by Milky !! :goodjob:

This little 318+ Lumens pocket gem is made from a modified KL2, and 3 CREE XREs with constant 500mA current going through each LED utilizing Milky's custom circuit. The ARC4 is used for size reference.

Again, great work!

Yeah, the M to C, and C to E adaptors are great!

That's pretty wild, what are you using to power that? An RCR123?

I am using a protected RCR123, running about 2C.
Beam shot tonight

I feel sorry for that RCR123 that has to power that thing. It's gotta be screaming when it's getting the much juice pulled from it. 500mAh x 3 x 1.03 (assuming 97% circuit efficiency).

Actually, its running at 2.2A or around 3C using only 1 RCR123. ( This light was really meant for 2 123s or 18650 setup which I also have. Just wanted to have fun for few short bursts ) :grin2:

Wow that circuit is less efficient than I thought. But with that little voltage that's pretty tough. I guess this is litterially a "Flash" light with ~20min runtime.

WW2 German Grenades were nicknamed the Potatoe Masher! Sounds like a good description for your light ;-)

THAT'S IT! Phew I was trying to remember that nickname all day. I almost resorted to playing Call of Duty to remember.

With those 2 adapters giving extra length, could you get a 17670 in there ?
Width should be ok, but height should be critical.... Very curious... :)

Amorphous, REALLY nice photo... and really nice potato masher setup... ;) and really nice Arc4!

This particular head ought to deliver about 1h20m on a single 18650 AW 2200mAh protected cell... it was never designed to run off a single RCR123 rechargeable, and it's a pleasant surprise that it works at all! (Truth be told, it even ran on a single PRIMARY 123 cell... but my guess is runtime would be something like 5 minutes!) :ohgeez:

I used to have my own light on this sort of setup... the body is so short that you almost find yourself holding the head itself in your palm! :)

Yeah, it is still a Blast everytime I turn it on. Great work there Milky !!
Imagine EDC it all the way to the airport, and imagine afterward what the security guys would do to you in a room with rubber gloves. :D :D
