Surefire: how many "flat sides" do the current bodies have?

Hi,
I believe that the Surefire bodies which have 3 flat sides are the newest and current shape - is this correct?

When was the new shape introduced for the following lights?:
Surefire E1L
Surefire E2L
Surefire L1 Lumamax
Surefire E2D

Does anyone remember?

I thought the newest ones had the 2 round sides? I prefer the 3 flat sides myslelf

I'm referring specifically to the above mentioned lights. I searched on the forum, and concluded that the latest body shape has the 3 flat sides - or have I got that wrong? Would not be the first time.

By 3 flat sides I'm meaning:
1 flat under the pocket clip -
Then 2 flats at about 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock (with the clip flat facing up).

Make sense? I hope so

You say the current bodies have two round sides - then they must have two flat sides, yes?
