So i was looking at some benchmades & saw the mono lock. have never heard of it...any idea what it is? do you press on the handle? i dunno...thanks

The Mono-Lock was used on the discontinued 750 series (a.k.a. The Pinnacle).
It's a frame lock, meaning that a portion of the frame acts like a locking bar.

Benchmades website shows how the locks work, here is a link..its the 7th one down...p.s. I had a BM monochrome for a while and It was nice for the money!

The BM Skirmish is one of the smoootheeest one-handed opener I've ever had. The SureFire Delta is also a mono-lock.

I like the skirmish, havent (yet) held it. when i go to a knife store around here i hope they have it.
