you can see a really cool and really cheap mod. I have made about 5 of them so far and they are amazing. I actually think they are so great I have on order 30 of the lights and about 50 of the bulbs. I live in NYC and had a very hard time finding the flashlight and a even harder time fining the bulbs. Finally I found a place that had them.

What I would like to do is sell a pre-made version here, this way if you find the parts hard to find or just don't want the trouble i can just send ya out one.

I haven't done any yet, though if thats what folks want I would be glad to do a Black paint along with a primer. Or the company krylon makes some really nice spray paint for Plastics called Fusion.

id keep it stock, that way it looks like a complete sleeper. no one would suspect its output looking like that.

Um it will go for about 20 min straight then the bulb will blow, but if ya let it cool its still good.

Great mod. I love these mods that are easy to put together quick. I get more wow factor with a $10 mod than I do with a mag85. My friends are cheapskates.

are CR123s included?

3x 123's how many lumens is this thing cranking out 200+?

At that kind of output, doesn't the plastic reflector and lens melt?

not when using it for short bursts.

Use the Krylon Fusion; it causes a chemical reaction and literally melts into the plastic. It creates the best bond/finish I've ever had when spray painting something; and it comes in a variety of colors.

(sanding with 300 grit paper) Wiping down with rubbing alcohol, painting, and letting it dry in the sun for a few hours has given me a near-mirror finish before.

Yes, I'm Mr. Thai. You should make more as I see there are more people on CPF who wants one but does not want buy all the parts. I must added that you are charging a very reasonable price. If I had to buy all the parts and all, it probably ended up costing me more than what you charge even with the shipping.
