im thinking of getting a poor mans A2 from cabelas and i was just wondering how to choose the led color? what are the advantages of the certain colors?

1. at right, where price is mentionned, there is a field named "model".
Klick it and You can choose the color of the leds.
2. its a Xenon main beam, better get a Fenix L2D-CE which would make a much better light (or a P3D/P2D, if You need those CR123 batts)
3. if You dont already know about light color and use it, then skip it.
If one is really honest, its just armchair hero / geek guy equipment.
(and for 99.9 % of all pll using them, its also geek equipment)

Great Article, thank you.
The inca bulb is white. With red LEDs, you get a good low-light option that won't ruin your night vision.

I'd suggest getting a few of those keychain lights with 1 led in different colors.
use them in a few different situations, and you can make your own choice.
i did the same thing, and in a few weeks will be ordering a surefire a2 with whatever color led i like best. i don't need white, as i already have a multi-mode white led light.
