greetings

thx for your replies

I wanted to order the Tiablo A9 at lighthound but they are currently out of stock

but I sent an email to tiablolight.com and they meant their distributer
pts-flashlights.com will have them in stock this Thursday again ...

No idea whether it's a reliable statement - but in fact I hope so !!

so far I have not found any other flash that seems
to be as good as the A9 maybe the Lumapower MRV but I don't think so

regards

Leone

Check this review, apparently the $28 3W Cree projection has the same amount of throw as the 2nd Gen MRV. That means the WF-600 with the Cree Q2 should throw a bit further then the 2nd Gen MRV. Of course, quality is not the same as the MRV or Tiablo.

I'd say go for the Tiablo because it is lighter then the MRV and also throws further.

Welcome to CPF!

yeah that's actually pretty much the reason why I want to go for
the A9

I'm still not a 100% sure if the beam suffers a lot by using 18650s
think I read this in one of the threads about the A9 but anyway I am
excited and I think the it's the best for my purpose

btw thanks for the welcomes :grin2:

Welcome to CPF Simon.

If you're going to use 18650's, get the A8-Q5 instead of the A9. If you're going to use RCR123's or CR123's, get the A9. ;)
