The Press Democrat of Santa Rosa CA, dropped several comic strips today, including Prince Valiant, Sherman's Lagoon, and Sally Forth. There are no other newspapers in my area that carry these strips and I was wondering if there are internet sites or major newspapers with web sites, that carry these comics. Prince Valiant has long been my favorite and I will miss this beautifully presented historial piece. I have done a google search and only one site, http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/pvaliant/about.htm carries a free Prince Valiant strip and it is six weeks old.

http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/pvaliant/about.htm is a month old, but if you think about it, it does not make any difference since you will read a fresh one every day.

I susbscribe to a couple of comics sites, (such as chron.com and uclick.com) and have not read paper comics in years. Chron.com has sally forth and Shermans lagoon.

Daniel, thanks. Looks like I could catch up on Prince Valiant by the end of the week. I will follow up on Chron.com and uclick.com.

The San Jose Mercury has Sally Forth on their website, but not the two others you mentioned. The Merc has been steadily reducing their comics pages, which kind of annoys me, as it's the only thing in the paper that I enjoy reading. I recently discovered that you can find every single Garfield ever made on the www.garfield.com website in an archive. Yes, every single one, in full color. I feel kind of bad for the people (like my sister) who have purchased the Garfield books for $7 a pop.
