Go to page 46. it's the best explanation of overall measuring and runtimes/ total output I have read. (that I could understand anyway!)

No, just hit that link, scroll down to 2008 catalog pdf illumination tools and go to p.46.page 46? that might be the wrong link.

Is everyone supposed to assume that? I'm smarter than the average bear and I figured that myself, but I think it's a good idea to post a direct link to the actual catalouge.

Candlepower can only be converted into lumen if the candlepower rating is the same no matter where you measure it.
Usually, candlepower is used to measure throw and lumen is used to measure overall output.
