Kinda silly to request beamshots, etc, without first contributing your own.

Okay, I'll bite. 
~25 feet (with miscellaneous clutter along the way!)
3D MagLED, alkaline
2C Taskforce Cree, alkaline
It's funny, with all the discussion I saw about the TaskForce cree light, I can't remember ever seeing any beamshots for it!
Anyway, FYI my Mag out throws the TF, but the TF has more overall output as you can see (maybe?) from the photos.

Ok heres a couple of outdoor shots.

Now a Surefire 6p incan p60 standard lamp. Looks kinda yellow but it had brand new surefire cr123a's in it.
Now a Fenix L2D Q5 on turbo mode.
Now a Surefire E2DL Defender on High mode.
Now the Surefire E2DL Defender on low mode.
They all had new cells so it fair test.

Made my first outdoor beamshots yesterday evening and thought why don't give this nice thread a little bump. I think it worked out pretty well for the first time. I took the pictures at a place with a very low amoutn of restlight.
First is a Conrtol shot: stock Maglite 2C

Sunlite Eagle 8w Far Projection.
Control and beamshot at 250ft:
Control and beamshot at 460ft
No control, but beamshot at 650 ft
At 760 ft
At 890 ft
At 1100 ft
1100 to 1200 ft is about the max for this 8w version. Soon, the 16w version will be released. :devil:
