For posterity's sake. I did these measurements while trying to decide whether or not to buy a Surefire U2 while already owning a VB-16 4th generation light. I decided that with my current circumstances, I could not justify the purchase. 
Someday...
In the meantime, here are the measurements. Hope this is useful to someone out there. I used a cheap Harbor Freight DMM so the accuracy may be questionable, but you get the general idea.
One of these days when I'm bored enough I'll do measurements with 2x18650 cells.
