The picture below shows my Led Lenser V12 and Led lenser V12-like clone. Both lights have a 5mm LED, but the clone emits much less light than the original. To illustrate; both lights are switched on in the top picture. I like the way the light looks but the N-size cells, I don't like.
The clone has different optics (less clear plastic lens) and lacks a 'tubular reflector'. Instead, there is some opaque white plastic that surrounds the 5mm LED.
So now I am looking for a way to increase the light output of the clone.
And maybe a better way to power the light instead of the N size cells.
I Did a Google search on this forum, but was unable to find this information.
