Hi everyone, I've just acquired the said charger for free :nana: , for lipos on RC cars which i'm just getting into, My question is, will this charger safely charge 18650s, as I have a Jetbeam M1X and was thinking about getting the extender and the said batteries, your help appreciated :)

Yes, it will. You just need to connect the output cables of the charger to the positive and negative ends of the 18650 somehow. I use small rare earth magnets which work great by sticking both to the alligator clip ends of my hobby charger's main output cable and the battery terminals.

Then you just have to select the right charging program and number of cells/series (1S) so the voltage is correct (4.2 V for 1 cell), and the right starting charge current which I believe should usually be in the range of .5 to 1C for 18650s. I usually charge them at .5 C or sometimes even a bit less.
