Anyone know where I can get specs on which resistors to use for modifying incandescant lights to leds. Or changing the voltage from 4.5v to 4, or 3.5 volts on AA's? Maybe what to use for stepping up voltage from 2 AA's to 4 volts? Any help is appreciated. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif

Specs for LED's will list voltage drop accross LED and operating current. Knowing those, all you need is to apply ohms law to come up with appropriate resistor value.

I have an Excel spreadsheet, with the ohms formula plugged in it. You can enter the voltage, and current info, and it will tell you what resistance to use. If you want it, send me an email, and I'll attach it to an email and send it to you, free.

I researched the ohms law, and took the formula, and put it into the spreadsheet. I have all sorts of different settings I put in, just to see what resistor to use.
