hello everone,
my first order of dereelight component and I'm disappointed in the very begining
I realy hope that some one will confirm that I recived defective unit !?
I'll take some shots to compare with DX R2.
cons of dereelight P60 XP-G 3SD OP are:
- lower output that cheap DX dropin R2
- ugly green tint
drop in No.: 1
dereelight P60 XP-G 3SD OP, claimed that runs on 1,2A throught LED
//measured in tail cap, Fluke shows 1,65A with fresh AW18650
//price around 40 eur including shipping
vs
drop in No.: 2
DX R2 dropin, run on regular driver with three AIM7135 so 1,05 A claimed
//measured in tail cap, Fluke shows 1,02A with fresh AW18650
//price around 8 eur,free shipping
I'm not having LUX meter so only compare will be shown in picture, picture are taken in the very same condition and setup of the camera.
and let the picture talk:
left DX R2 OP, right dereelight XP-G 3SD OP
hosts are the same for both drop ins
drop ins
left dereelightXP-G, right DX R2 on the white wall
left dereelight XP-G right DX R2
left dereelight XP-G right DX R2
you can see that DX R2 is much more brighter that deree XP-G SD
in R2 picture you almost can not see where wall is divided in horizontal line
//both picture are taken in the very same condition 3.2 sec F2.7 +-0
somewhere I read
462 lumen @1.5A is fo XP-G
~270 lumen@1A is fo XR-E (R2)
asumming that XP-G is driven in deree with 1,2A against 1.0A in DX R2
I'm must say something are wrong here and this night I'm not going out :shakehead that sad I'm now.
p.s. my old drop in is Q5 driven by 3xAIM7135@1,05A, and also this one are a little brighter than deree.
so please read and advice me what to do.
with kind regards, Simon
