TK30 users, do you use your light untill the Battery protection kicks in?

I have been reading all the threads about Li batteries exploding.



I use my TK30 with 2 3000MAH UltraFire 18650's. I use the light caving (mud, water, rocks) at full brightness. I use the light untill the battery protection kicks in. I am in the caves for long periods of time and can not estimate how much I have used the light. It just goes out (I also use a headlamp and have many other lights with me).



Am I asking for trouble or is relying on the cut-off protection (@2.5V) ok? I don't care if the batteries wont last over 100 cycles, I want max brightness for as long as I can get in a small package.
