Lower the Low mode on T100C2 technique

You can adjust the low mode on the T100C2 Mark 1 and 2 to a very very low mode or bright mode if you want.

1) remove the aluminum driver retainer ring.
2) pop open the driver
3) use a small screw driver and adjust a resistor in the middle of the driver. Clockwise brightness increase. Counter clockwise for lower brightness.

How did you remove the retainer? I tried awhile back with my P100a2, but it won't come off.

If I turn the resistor counter-clockwise to lower the brightness; does this means it will automatically lower both modes?

Scoop the retainer ring out near the split with a flat head. It pops right out.

Thanks for sharing this tip. I have a T100C2 and it's great, but I do think there should be more spread between the two modes. I love CPF!

That's outstanding. The only reason I never picked up a T100 is the low was way too high for me. Some pics would be greatly appreciated.
