Many yrs ago I bought a new Streamlight SL20 about 1980, the 1st weekend I had it I dropped it in a lake about 4' deep while it was on. After a cold wet dive I had it back still on just fine, I still use it often. The rest of the story was getting back to land on the pier with a rattlesnake between me and the land! The light in the snake's eyes worked very well to get him to leave.
