I would say 300 lumen of very very intense laser like color tint.

300 is an estimate. But the drop in is very very bright at 2.1A

There as bright at that red xpe can handle. You'd have to get one or those phatlight LED's to get more red.
Speaking of that, what do you think of these emitters?

I am NOT being critical here, just curious.

So, the 3 mode red drop in 3-6v, 1.75 amp.
correct me if i am wrong, but if these drop ins are using cree xp-e red emmiters at 1.75 amp are they not grossly overdriven?
If so, what is the life expectancy of them and what battery(s) are you recommending be used with them.

I drove them to 1.75A and they ran fine. I can definitely drive them at 1A if you want. I know nothing about LED life expectancy.

would you happen to have a pill on hand to mod that fits uniquefire hs-802 / usa168 clone?
or, if i send you mine could you put one of your red emmitters and 3 mode drivers in it driven as hard as you think will work?( i see above you mention 2.1 amp)
what are the mode /mod options, solder fill, etc.?
