Can anyone identify this light?

My friend recieved it as part of an award from FIRST and it appears to be direct from Cree. Forward clicky, 3 modes (High, Low, Strobe), single AA, maybe 120 lumens (rough guess).


It came in a box with the battery, an unmarked case and wriststrap.

Looks identical to the TerraLux LightStar 100 Lumen 1xAA LED Flashlight TLF-1C1AA, shown in this photo from a flashlight dealer's web site:

I own a TerraLUX Lightstar100. I can't tell by your picture for sure, but that lens in that picture doesn't look like the one on the Lightstar100 - it is coke-bottle thick with a "vortex" if you will in the center and because it is so thick and concave or whatever, you can't see the emitter nor can you see the reflector like you can in your shot. But that's from memory. Mine is upstairs and I just don't feel like running up after it to confirm the lens thing... lol. But for all practical intents and purposes, the light you've depicted has the identical body as the Lightstar100.

So, do we get a prize? OK.. parnass was first.
