Are these new? 1987 lumen from a single emitter? Anyone using these yet? What current can they be pushed to?

Quick answer is ~ 5 amps which will be good for ~2800L. That is star mounted. If it was copper mounted, it would be well over 3k, since I got over 3,100L in initial startup. Google search "more emitter test results" and you'll see where I tested the MT-G2 and others via bench power supply and an I.S.

Any idea how one of these bad boys will do in a big sst-90 reflector like dx or kd sells?

Good question. I don't have one of those reflectors for testing, but I can say that the 80mm MT-G2 reflector that cutter.com specifically sells for this emitter will do ~45-50kcd @3 amps. I would expect the smooth sst-90 reflectors to do better.

Ok, you got my attention. Which bins are putting out these lumen #'s?

Oh, it looks like one chip. Anyways, how hard can they be pushed ?

yes, one chip. one type has an array of 12, the other one has an even bigger array

both of these are Cree MTG series emitters
