My beloved Aeon was flickering a bit when changing from low to high so I jumped in and started cleaning it. I noticed that the little spring on the positive side was pretty flat and decided (in all of my infinite knowledge) that I needed to make the spring stand up a little.

One tiny flat-head screwdriver and 5 minutes later and the spring popped off altogether :fail:

It would take some pretty precision soldering to get that spring back on and I figure I better stop while I am ahead...

I have not been able to get in touch with Enrique via the http://muyshondt.net/ website to see if he would repair it for me for a price.

So now the question is; any precision soldering guys willing to fix my Aeon for a reasonable price? I just love this light so much I hate to see it not being used.
