Can the amc7135 be lapped slightly like we sometimes do with a cpu before fitting a heatsink to them?
Will applying a heatsink to the tops of them be effective at controlling heat?
I have been reading that their main heat dissipation point is the tab at the back of the chip.
I am thinking about getting a couple dedicated 16x7135 slave boards to play with.
What I have been wondering about doing is sandwiching one of them between two chunks of aluminum or copper and fitting that to my host body to keep them from overheating.
