I recently purchased a mako 680L dive light. It takes 2 cr123 batts and chews through them pretty regular. The light has a 3-6v operating range and a aw ic 17670 with 1600mah rating barely fits in the tube and doesn't seem to provide the same brightness as the single use cr123. I am thinking about milling out the tube for a 18680 batt but would rather leave it alone if there is a better option. Any advise?
