Anyone remember this CPF 'must have' light?

Years ago, there was a real stir on CPF with this light. I wish I could remember the make and model, but it is not on the light for some reason. It was a real bargain and one of the upgrades was to fit a glass lens in place of the plastic. My example is still working well and despite its age is STILL brighter than most peoples lights I see out and about. It runs on 1 CR123 battery, one level, reverse clicky and came with a pouch.

Anyone remember this? Do you still have yours?

I remember being quite amazed at what this light offered, now it seems a bit crude, but it was one of the early CPF 'must haves'.

That's it! Well done - never would have remembered that. Anyone still have theirs / use them still? I'm tempted to put in an AW cell, but the extra voltage may damage it.

I think that's got a boost-only circuit and over-volting might fry the emitter ...
