xhp-70 flashlight

need help finding parts to build flashlight using xhp-70. I have the leds and star base (copper) need copper under base-----driver---for use in "D" used maglite. I have lathe---milling machine---soldering work station--etc. need to be pointed in the right direction thanks greg

Not sure if we can post links on here or not. Check out MTN electronics. Its a sight ran by some of the members from BLF (budget light forums) that sells modding parts. I don't know where you would get just a chunk of copper however.

McMaster-Carr sells short lengths of copper rod. Pricey but convenient.
