I have a Surefire E2DL defender and X300 - how can I tell which "version" they are? Neither is Ultra, but I'm not sure which lumen rating since both got "upgraded" over time without changing the model name. I've read in various posts that the "upgrades" were only rating changes, not not actual changes to the lights. But either way, I'd still like to know how to tell which version they are.
How do you tell which version of a Surefire flashlight or weapon light?

There should be a serial number on the light. Email Surefire CS with it and they should be able to tell you specifics.
