1) I have presently a Surefire Nitrolon G2 host

2) I have on the way:

a) XP-G2 S4 5D LED

b) 1,000mA buck driver suitable for 2xCR123A cells

3) There is a resistor on top which can be swapped to drop the output current from 1,000mA to 500mA

4) My rough calculations look like this:

6.0V * 1400mAh = 8.4Wh

8.4Wh / 1.485W = 5.65 hours

5.65 hours * .85% efficiency = 4.8 hours

4.8 hours = 4 hours, 48 minutes

254 lumens at 1.485 watts for 4 hours, 48 minutes

5) I am looking for someone to:

a) Swap the resistor atop the buck driver to drop the current down to 500mA

b) Assemble the LED and driver in a light orange peel reflector suitable for P60/Surefire G2 host

6) If there is someone (an experienced modder) in the Providence, Boston, Plymouth, Cape Cod, etc., region...that would like to meet up locally, it's always nice to encounter someone else in the hobby
