Dear Men,

After two unsucessful attemps, I am finally able to join everyone here in this forum. All I've been doing is reading and reading. This forum is a popular one and glad I could be part of it all. You can find me on the SureFire forum as "FineFive". Al, Brock, Jahn, now we can chat here as well.

Thanks!

Let me be the first to welcome you!

It's nice to have professional flashlight folks here.

I've been checking out your photos on pk-engineering. Nice stuff! Are you a designer there?

Hi Gadget, Thanks! I feel like I am in familiar territory here. Good to see you here too. I am not a designer for SureFire. I just take photos for Lord Paul Kim. I do work as an architect by trade and have established an eye for good design which is why I love SureFire's so much.

Now you will spend even more time reading all the posts over here too. I bet is was the upgrade over at Surefire that drove you to join us. You probably just couldn't resist posting something, somewhere.

Either way, gald you made it.

Brock,

I registered once or twice before but for some reason, I couldn't log back on after I have logged out. Maybe it was the computer I was using or something
smile.gif
But this time, I am here to stay and will definetly have a lot of reading to do.

Welcome back Shelby Chan, Photodude !

Hey, I was confused about that one too -
the Surefirer Gadget isn't the same Gadget as CPF's "Go, Go Gadget Flashlight"

BTW, AluminumOvercast ? GhostGroup ? FineFive ?

I'm gonna change my name to Xchameleon - well maybe not ......

Oh, Shelby, you don't have to log out on this board - you just stay logged in all the time.

Oh, I didn't know there was a Surefire "Gadget". I didn't take someone's name, did I?

Shelby, I was wondering why you were "glad to see me here". Now I see you thought I was someone else. Sorry 'bout that.

Yes, I'm a recent grad Mechanical looking for work.
Surefire would be like a dream job for me.

The location worries me a bit, but I'm good at adapting.

I'm currently working on putting a Luxeon LED in a 6P as a drop in module for another CPF member.
And an array of Nichia LEDs in a 6P for another.

Hi Shelby!

Great to see you here as well...

I'm sleeping at the wrong times it seems!
If I learn to have three hours sleep at 3am and 3 hours sleep at 5pm, maybe I'll catch the activity more often?

"Party on!"

Gadget - I didn't know you cared !
How sweet of you to anticipate my wishes without me even asking you !
And a drop in module too !

Oh, bliss !

You are truly a Prince among Engineers.

Hehe,

Well, if it turns out OK, I might consider making a few more if people are interested.

But, this one is actually for one of our newer members who contacted me in regard to one of my eBay auctions.
Now that I look back on our emails, I don't think he has registered yet...

Ricky, get with the program!!! Hehe!

Sorry, Go Go,
I just couldn't resist that.

Gadget, just my *humour* getting the better of me.
(Well this is a light-hearted welcome topic)

Hey Guys,
Do you mind if I hang out here.
I finally registered this one too.

No, sorry, I don't believe it !
You could just be someone claiming to be SureFire's PK !!

This is probably only Al, playing a cruel practical joke !!!
wink.gif

Stranger,

you could possibly prove who you are, by telling us if there will ever be an E4 with 250 Lumens for 100 minutes ......

No other standard of proof will do, sorry.

Not me!

Do we require proof, or like for other Gods, do we have faith?
wink.gif

That fact that PK's email address is the same as PK's at SureFire means that if it's not him, then the real PK is going to get loads of strange email!!

Maybe we should ask PK to put a photo of a SureFire with "CPF" laser engraved on it posted on his website?

I believe it is PK.

Well now that you're here, can you give us an update on the 10X Dominator? That is what I have my GW tax rebate check earmarked for. It is due the end of September, will the light be ready by then?
