Aloha all,
Just finished an nflex mod to a 2 cell c m@g. The nflex will fit in a c size m@g by tipping it to the side, and trimming a little of the bulb base holder(very minor trimming). This will allow the board the extra 2mm or so,to just fit in below the hotlips. soldering the switch was tricky especially the way I did it. Converting the switch so it will not lock on was simple, just stuck an o-ring in the switch assembly, so the switch will not press all the way in and lock. Now to find a worthy 5 watt, remove the spring and add another cr123.
Anyone know where I could find a nice W-bin?
PVC pipe with a few wraps of typing paper. 2 Pila 150A's fit perfect without paper.
o-ring, to keep switch from locking on.
Makeshift contact pad. Learned the hard way aluminum doesn't solder
highest setting
lowest setting
Man, it was easier modding the light, than posting the pics. Please excuse the poor pics.
I am currently using 2 Pila 150 A's.
