Can any member advice me if I can mod a 5W led on the original Surefire M3 bezel?

I suppose that you could use a shortened version of the Katokichi Luxeon module with Downboy convertor.
The stock reflector has to be bored out to 3/8", the current opening is too small to allow the Luxeon emitter to pass through.
Keep in mind that the M-series bezels do not deal with heat that well because of the shock isolation. The only thermal mass in a stock head is the reflector.
I was contemplating this mod myself a while ago, but I don't have an extra M3 bezel yet. Plus, getting a KL6 would take less effort, and it would deal with the heat issue.
