I'm just leaving for a lecture he is giving. I hope to get some books signed too.

I've seen him before, the photos inside the book jackets are actually life-size! Well, almost. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I read them all up to Maskerade, then got sidetracked by Robert Rankin. The Brentford Trilogy is hilarious, and well worth reading.

He gets around I guess.

He said that he thought Canberra was the Aboriginal word for Milton Keynes. That was funny!

I have got ALL of his novels apart from Hatful of Sky (I am waiting to get it in soft-back) plus the 'science of' (heavy reading at times!) & 'Diskworld Companion', but I have none of the screenplay adaptations.

Found them all great except -

1) Carpet People - So lame I could not finish the book

2) Only you can save mankind - A little too childish for my liking; not as good as the other two 'Johnny' books.

3) Unadulterated cat - Not a novel, just a load of cr*p about cats.

One thing I would say to all non-readers is give it a go and you will be pleasantly surprised !
